A movie doesn't get green lit without an investor, and this dynamic duo has supported this story from the first time @garrettbatty shared it with them.
I've never seen a more involved EP - Wayne & Chani came to set half of our filming days, lent us their side-by-side to make it easier on set, and became dear friends with the cast and crew. One of my favorite memories is when we gave Wayne the chance to call Action and Cut on the second-to-last day of filming. He lit up so big and had the time of his life on this movie.
Sadly, we lost Chani earlier this year, which is way too soon. I'm sad she won't be joining us for the premiere of this wonderful film, but you can hear her words and feel her spirit in this short on-the-spot interview we did while visiting set early in production.
